Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains what we sell, when you can cancel, and how to ask for a refund. Your statutory rights are always protected.
Last updated 30 September 2026
What we sell
We sell two kinds of product, and some products combine both:
- Digital content — ready-made travel guides, checklists, research reports and other downloadable resources.
- Personalised planning services — itineraries and travel-planning documents we prepare for you.
- Combined products — a personalised service that also includes digital content.
Your statutory right to cancel
As a UK consumer buying online, you normally have 14 days from the day your contract is formed to cancel without giving a reason. How this works depends on the type of product.
Digital content
If you ask us to supply digital content immediately and acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel, your right to cancel ends once supply begins (for example, when the download or email is made available). Without that request and acknowledgement, we will not supply the content during the cancellation period.
If digital content is faulty or not as described, you still have your rights to a repair, replacement or refund.
Personalised planning services
Work begins only when you expressly request that we start during the 14-day cancellation period.
If you cancel before work begins, you receive a full refund.
If you cancel after work has begun but before it is complete, we will refund you minus a proportionate amount for work properly performed up to the point you told us you were cancelling.
Once the service has been fully performed within the cancellation period at your request, the right to cancel no longer applies.
How to request a cancellation or refund
Email sales@worldalliance.uk with:
- your full name
- your order reference
- the email address used at checkout
- the product concerned
- the reason (optional for statutory cancellations)
Processing refunds
We acknowledge requests promptly. Approved refunds are processed without undue delay and within the timeframes required by law — for statutory cancellations, within 14 days of us being told you wish to cancel. Refunds are returned to the original payment method; your bank or card provider may take a few extra days to show them.
Your rights are not affected
Nothing in this policy removes or restricts your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
