1. About World Alliance
World Alliance is a trading name of World Alliance Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17365060). Registered office: 35 Ferndale Road, Birmingham, England, B28 9AU.
You can contact us at sales@worldalliance.uk or 020 3983 3281.
2. Our services
World Alliance is a digital travel publishing and information services company specialising in the creation, publication and delivery of digital travel resources.
We help travellers research and plan trips by providing destination information, travel guides, personalised itinerary documents, travel-planning resources, checklists, research reports and other digital travel content.
Our products are delivered electronically through our website, customer account, email or digital download.
World Alliance does not sell or issue airline tickets, flights, accommodation, package holidays or transportation. Customers purchase our digital travel-planning and information services.
3. Product descriptions
Each product page describes what you receive, what is not included, how it is delivered, how long it normally takes and its price. We take care to make these descriptions accurate. If something you receive does not match its description, please contact us.
4. Orders
You place an order by completing the checkout and accepting these terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable or we suspect fraud; if we do, you will not be charged or any payment will be refunded in full.
5. Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and the total price is displayed before you pay. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added. If this changes, prices will show VAT clearly.
6. Payment
Payment is taken through a secure third-party payment provider using the methods shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card number or security code. Payment must be successfully authorised before we deliver or begin work on your order.
7. Digital delivery
All products are delivered electronically — by email, through your customer account, or as a secure download. Nothing is posted. See our Digital Delivery Policy for timings.
8. Personalised services
For personalised itineraries we use the information you give us (destination, dates, travellers, interests and preferences) to research and prepare your document. Please make sure this information is accurate and complete; we will contact you if we need more.
9. Accuracy of travel information
We research carefully, but travel information such as prices, opening hours, timetables, entry requirements and local rules can change at any time. Please verify time-sensitive and safety-critical information with official sources and providers before you travel.
10. Third-party services
World Alliance does not sell, book, issue or control flights, accommodation, transport, tours or any other third-party travel service. Where our materials mention third parties, any arrangement you make with them is between you and that provider under their terms.
11. Intellectual property
Our content remains our property. When you buy a product you receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use it for your own personal, non-commercial travel planning. You may not:
- resell or redistribute our materials
- reproduce them commercially
- upload them publicly
- share paid materials commercially
- remove copyright notices
12. Acceptable use
You must not use our website or products unlawfully or fraudulently, abuse our systems or staff, use automated tools to extract content, or redistribute our materials commercially.
13. Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy removes or restricts your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
14. Cancellation and refunds
Your cancellation and refund rights are explained in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Cancellation Policy, which form part of these terms.
15. Digital content
Where a product is digital content supplied immediately, we will only supply it within the 14-day cancellation period if you expressly request this and acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel once supply begins. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described; if it is not, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
16. Personalised itinerary services
We only begin work on a personalised service within the 14-day cancellation period if you expressly ask us to. You can still cancel during that period, but we may deduct a proportionate amount for work already properly performed. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
17. Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for the acts or omissions of third-party travel providers. Our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the relevant product, except where the law does not allow this.
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
18. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If this happens we will tell you and minimise the effect; if the delay is significant you may cancel and receive a refund for anything not provided.
19. Complaints
Please tell us about any problem at sales@worldalliance.uk. Our Complaints Policy explains how we handle complaints.
20. Changes to our services and terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you order applies to your order. We will tell you about material changes affecting an active order.
21. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts.
